How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Dahiwale chhole ?


Dahiwale chhole

2 cups boiled chhole. See above recipe. 6 tblsps. Nicely beaten curds. 2 large onions, minced. 2 inch piece ginger. minced. 1 tblsp. Each of garam masala and roasted and ground cumin seeds and mango powder. 25 grams fried raisins. 25 grams fried and chopped cashewnuts. Salt and chilli powder to taste.

Heat 4 tblsps. Ghee and fry onion and ginger to a golden colour. Put in curds and cook till the ghee floats to the top. Put in garam masala, cumin seeds and mango powder. Mix well. Add chholas and chilli powder and 2 tblsps. Water. Cook till the chholas turn dry. Serve hot, garnished with raisins and nuts.
