How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Malpura recipe ?Malpura recipe (First recipe) 1 cup milk. 1 tsp anise seeds. 1 tblsp. Poppy seeds 1 tsp. Seeds of big black cardamoms. Flour 4 tblsps ground sugar. Mix sugar and milk together and when the sugar dissolves, put in enough flour to form a batter. Beat the batter until smooth. Then stir in the rest of the above ingredients. Heat enough ghee for deep frying in a pan to smoking, lower the heat and drop two tablespoons of batter in it and spread into a thin round shape. Fry to a golden brown colour. Drain out the excess ghee and serve immediately. Malpura receipe(Second recipe) 2 eggs, 6 tblsps. Milk. 4 tblsps. Ground sugar. 1 tsp anise seeds. 1 tblsp poppy seeds. 1 tsp seeds of black cardamoms. Refined flour. Beat eggs well. Put in milk and sugar and beat again. Put in enough flour to form a batter and beat until smooth. Stir in the rest of the above ingredients and fry like in the first recipe. Malpura recipie (Third recipe) 1 cup flour. 5 tblsps. Ground sugar. 1 tsp anise seeds. 1 tblsp. Poppy seeds. 1 tsp. Seeds of big black cardamoms. Put enough water in flour to form a dough of medium consistency. Cover
and set aside whole night. Next morning, put in enough water again to
form a batter. Beat till smooth, add sugar and beat vigorously again.
Stir in the rest f the ingredients. Mix well and fry as in the first recipe. More Punjabi Sweet Recipes
