How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Grilled chicken ?


Grilled chicken

1 chicken, disjointed. 2 cups vinegar. 1 large onion. 8 flakes garlic. 2 inch piece ginger. 1 tblsp. Garam masala. 1 tsp. Ground cumin seeds. A few drops orange red colour. Salt and chilli powder to taste.

Grind onion, ginger and garlic to a fine paste and extract juice. Blend the juice with vinegar along with spices and colour and then put in the pieces of chicken. Let the chicken marinate in the mixture for 12 hours. Brush the pieces with a little ghee and grill on an open charcoal fire until done. If this is not possible, bake in an over for half an hour. serve garnished with raw onion slices and slitted green chillies and green chutney. This chicken should be served with batura or tandoori roti.
