How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Methi mutton ?Methi mutton 500 grams mutton. 250 grams each of methi and spinach. 1 tsp. Turmeric powder. 1 tblsp. Coriander powder. 1 tsp. Garam masala. 3 large tomatoes, diced. 3 medium onions. 8 flakes garlic. 2 inch piece ginger. salt and chilli powder to taste. Sprinkle salt on methi and set aside for 15 minutes, then squeeze dry
to remove bitterness. Finely slice the spinach after cleaning it. Grind
ginger, garlic and onion to a paste. Heat 4 tblsps. Ghee and fry the ground
past to a golden brown colour. Add the tomatoes and cook till the ghee
floats to the top. Then put in the mutton and fry it to a brown colour
on all the sides. Put in the ground spices and methi and spinach. Cover
and cook till the mixture turns dry. Pour in 2 cups hot water. Cover tightly
and continue cooking till the mutton is tender and almost dry. Serve hot. [an error occurred while processing this directive] |
