How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Mutton masala ?


Mutton masala

1 kilo mutton, preferably of leg. 2 cups sour curds. 20 flakes of garlic. 1 tblsp. Each of coriander powder and garam masala. Salt and chilli powder to taste.

Mix together curds and spices and beat nicely, put in the mutton and let it soak in it for 4 hours. Heat 4 tblsps. Ghee and fry the garlic to a red colour. Put in the mutton along with its marinade and ½ cup hot water. Cover tightly, sprinkle a little cold water on the lid and cook till the mutton is tender and completely dry. Then keep on frying till the mutton turns red. Serve hot.
