How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Carrot murraba ?Carrot murraba 500 grams bright red carots. 500 grams sugar. 1 ½ tblsps. Cardamom seeds. ½ tsp. Citric acid. ½ tsp. Essence of saffron. Silver or gold foil. Scrape the carrots and cut into thick slices lengthwise. Then pierce
them all over with the help of a sharp needle. Boil in water till almost
tender. Drain completely and spread on a cloth and let them dry for a
couple of hours. Prepare a light syrup with sugar and ¼ litre water.
Put in carrots and cook on a slow fire till the syrup turns thick. Stir
in essence and cardamoms. Cool and put in bottle and then ix in pieces
of foil. Lasts for 15 days
