How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Shikandvi ?


Shikandvi

1 ½ cups sugar. 1 ½ cups strained lime juice. 4 cups water.

Combine sugar and water in a pan and boil briskly till the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is a little thick. Mix in the lime juice and remove from fire. Pour the mixture in a clean jar or a bottle. Cover and store in a refrigerator. Or a cool, dry place. To prepare, put 4 tblsps. Of this mixture in a glass and fill with either cold water or soda. Put in cracked ice and serve garnished with bruised mint leaves.
