How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Fish chops ?Fish chops 500 grams fish, boiled. 2 slicews of bread soaked in water and squeezed dry. 250 grams boiled green peas. Grind coarsely. 1 large tomato, blanched and sliced. 4 green chillies, minced. Handful of coriander leaves. A few sliced mint leaves. 1 onions, minced. 1 inch piece ginger minced. 4 flakes garlic. Minced. ½ tsp. Each of turmeric powder, garam masala and ground cumin seeds. Salt and chilli powder to taste. Heat 1 tblsp. Ghee and put in ginger, garlic and onion and fry t ill soft. Put in tomato, chillies, coriander mint and seasonings and cook till soft. Put in peas and cook till dry and remove from fire. Remove bones from fish and mix with bread and salt and knead to a very smooth mixture. Divide the fish and the peas mixture into equal portions. Form the fish mixture into cups, stuff with peas mixture, gather the edges together and make into heart shaped cutlets. Roll in crumbs and shallow fry to a golden brown colour. Drain thoroughly and serve accompanied with onion chutney and, if possible, with fingerchips.
