How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Fish with peas ?Fish with peas 500 grams any white-fleshed fish. Cut into slices. 125 grams green peas. 2 big tomatoes, blanched and sliced 1 onion. ½ tsp. Ajwain seeds. 6 flakes garlic. 1 tsp. Garam masala. ¼ tsp. Turmeric powder. Salt and chilli powder to taste. Clean the fish and remove fishy smell. See Helpful hints. Then fry lightly.
Grind onion, grind and ajwain to a paste. Heat 2 tblsps. Ghee and fry
the ground paste to a golden colour. Add tomatoes and cook till the ghee
separates. Put in peas. Fry for a couple of minutes. then put in 2 cups
water. Cover and cook till the peas are half done, put in fish and continue
cooking till the fish and peas are done. Remove from fire. Sprinkle garam
masala on top and serve immediately.
