How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Peshawari machhi -Fish ?Peshawari machhi -Fish 1 kilo any white-fleshed fish, cut into slices. 1 tsp. Each of garam masala, turmeric, powder and mango powder 100 grams tomatoes, blanched and sliced. 250 grams curds. 2 big onions. 4 flakes garlic. 1 tsp. Roasted and ground cumin seeds. 4 green chillies, minced. Handful of sliced coriander leaves. Salt, lime juice and chilli powder to taste. Apply lime juice blended with mango powder and salt on the slices of fish. Fry lightly and set aside. Grind onion ginger and garlic to a paste. Heat 2 tblsps. Ghee and fry the ground paste to a golden brown colour. Put in tomatoes, chillies, salt and turmeric powder and ground cumin seeds and cook till ghee floats to the top. Put in 2 cups water and cook till dry. Mash to a smooth paste and then beat the curds with 1 cup water to a very smooth paste and pour in. heat slowly, put in the fish slices. Cover tightly and cook till the fish is done. Serve hot after sprinkling on top garam masala and coriander leaves.
