How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Gajjar mithai ?Gajjar mithai ½ kilo finely grated sweet and red carrots. 4 tblsps. Pure ghee.
150 grams sugar. 125 grams khoya. 1 tsp. Crushed cardamom seeds. 25 grams
each of sliced and blanced almonds and pistachios. ½ tsp essence
of saffron, rose or kewda. Silver foil each ball into a thin puri with
the help of a little flour. When all the puries have been thus rolled,
set aside for 15 minutes and deep fry until crisp and golden. Cool and
grind to a fine powder. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Now take a piece of muslin cloth and put in 2 tblsps. Of the mixture,
then press the mixture hard into a round ball. Remove the cloth and set
the ladus aside to cool, then store in airtight container.
