How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Alu masala ?Alu masala 250 grams potatoes, peeled and cubed. ½ tsp. Each of mustard and cumin seeds. 1 tsp. Garam masala. 1 tblsp. Coriander powder. 1inch piece ginger, minced. Dash of pepper. 2 green chillies, minced. Handful of sliced coriander leaves. Salt and chilli powder to taste. Heat 2 tblsps. Ghee to smoking and put in cumin and mustard seeds. When
the seeds start popping, put in potatoes and all the spices and fry till
the potatoes turn a pale gold colour. Put in chillies. Mix nicely and
sprinkle a little milk on top. Cover tightly and cook till the potatoes
are done. Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves. [an error occurred while processing this directive] |
