How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Methi alu ?Methi alu 250 grams potatoes, peeled and cubed, 2 bunches fenugreek leaves, cleaned. 4 flakes garlic, minced. 1 large onion, minced. 100 grams tomatoes, diced. 4 green chillies, 1 tblsp. Coriander powder. ½ tsp. Turmeric powder. Salt and chilli powder to taste. Sprinkle salt on leaves and set aside for 15 minutes. Then squeeze dry.
Heat 2 tblsps. Ghee and fry garlic and onion till soft. Put in potatoes
and fry for 5 minutes. add leaves. Spices and salt and cook till dry.
Put in tomatoes. Cover tightly and cook till the potatoes are tender.
