How to Prepare / Make / Cook - Petha bhajee ?


Petha bhajee

250 grams green petha. Peeled and cubed. 1 tsp. Fenugreek seeds. ½ tsp. Turmeric powder. 1 tsp. Ground cumin seeds. 1-inch. Piece ginger. 1 medium onion. 1 large tomato, diced. 2 green chillies, minced. Handful of coriander leaves. Salt and chilli powder to taste.

Heat 1 tblsp. Ghee and put in fenugreek seeds. When they turn red put in onion and ginger and fry till soft. Put in petha. Fry for 5 minutes, then put in the rest of the ingredients with the exception of coriander. Cover tightly and cook till the vegetable is soft. Mash coarsely Reheat and serve decorated with chopped coriander leaves.
